My daughter Halle turns one tomorrow (May 2nd). It is so hard for me to believe it has been a year since my sweet girl was born.
We celebrated this past Saturday. A lot of my friends were asking where I got my decor or how I made it. So, I decided to turn those questions into a blog post!
I put a lot of love into this party. Halle is my only girl (for another 45 days until her sister is here! ) and she only turns one once! So, here goes.
The theme for her party was "April Showers brings May Flowers." Fitting, right? We had her party in April and her birthday is in May. And well, look at her. She is a little flower! haha
And on that note, sleeping beauty wakes from her nap. Until next time....

I made this door sign and hung it on the pantry door in my kitchen. It is foam board, covered in wrapping paper. I made the umbrella's and flowers from scrapbook paper. Then, hot glued Tulle (from the dollar store!) to the back to hang it.
See that cute lil frame? Dollar bin at Target.
I made the pendant banner that hung from the treat table out of scrapbook paper, scrapbook flowers and twine.
"Rain water" :) Just Target water bottles, removed the wrappers and hot glued scrapbook paper strips on.
The birthday banner I made out of paper coasters by Martha Stewart. I used a paint for the letters. Her name is wooden blocks I bought at a craft store, painted and embellished with itty bitty pom's pom's.
The plates are from Target. One of their cute new brands, don't remember the name. I wrapped the plasticware in a matching napkin, tied some twine around it and hot glued little flowers.
Those vases I bought at the Dollar Tree. They were clear and I painted the inside white. The flowers are from the dollar store too :)
The treats table!
Those mini flower pots are also from the dollar store and believe it or not, so are the flower cookies.
The cupcakes stand is by Martha Stewart from JoAnn's. I just hot glued those little flowers on there. The cupcake wrappers and toppers are also Martha Stewart.
I bought these flower pots on MAJOR clearance from JoAnn's. The flowers & butterflies I made with scrapbook paper. Inside the flower pot is foam to keep them in place and fake moss.
And on that note, sleeping beauty wakes from her nap. Until next time....
